We do not use an open source base, so we don't have any of the security issues they have. And as our source code is not public, it cannot be studied to find vulnerabilities. So all white box attacks are excluded.
Our front server is protected behind a Firewall. And it is the only one exposed to the internet.
Our database have a replica and a backup schedule system.
Local user/password. Emails are validated through a confirmation email. In order to participate we also require (campaign configurable) a mobile phone to be validated through a SMS code. If user just wants to vote or any other interaction, we only require their email to be valid.
Anyone can access to the public campaign to view it and visit videos. In order to vote or to participate we also require a login.
Front server exposed to internet has only 443 and 80 ports open.
